Amor to Love goes abroad
My short film Amor to Love was selected to screen in London and Brussels – so I went on tour!
Coming off the heels of Fantastic Fest, I was fortunate enough to be selected to screen at two European festivals: the London Short Film Festival and Court Mais Trash in Brussels. Seeing as they were only a week apart and January is a slow month for me, I decided what the hell and booked a ticket for my European tour de ciné.
Both screenings went so well. In London and Brussels there was a packed house and an excited audience full of laughs and cheers. I wasn’t sure how the foreign concept of TACO BELL would translate across the pond, but it did! According to some new Belgian friends I met they know about Taco Bell, but only as a mythical American culinary curiosity. I should have brought some for the Belgians to try (though I don’t think a crunchwrap supreme would have travelled well over 5,609 miles).
